Welcome to the website of MEMO, the Museum of Enamels and Mosaic of Briare.

Taking place in the ancient house of the founder of the manufactory, Jean-Félix Bapterosses, the museum presents an impresive exhibition of buttons, beads and mosaics of enamels.

Visiting with or without guide, discover the history of the manufactory of Briare, known all around the world and nammed “City of Beads” in the middle of the 19th century.

In 2014 it was the seventh most visited museum of the Loiret department in France*.
